Tiffany

Owner & Swim Instructor

Hi! I'm Tiffany Meeder, founder and owner of SoFla Aqua Fitness. As a South Florida native and competitive swimmer for nearly twenty years, my love for the water came naturally!  After over a decade  of coaching and teaching swim lessons, I realized the need for lessons to be done at the convenience of your home! I founded SoFla Aqua Fitness in 2015 and it has now grown to cover most of the Boca Raton, Delray Beach,  Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, and Wellington areas. My team and I are passionate about providing lessons in a safe and nurturing environment that creates a true love of the water!  My husband, Andrew, and I reside in South Florida with our daughter Nora and our Bahamian dogs, Triton and Sadie, who ironically hate swimming!

Daphne

Lead Swim Instructor & Director of Training

I’m Daphne Wiley and I have been with SoFla Aqua Fitness since spring 2017.  Born and raised in Palm Beach County, I have over 16 years of professional aquatic experience in water safety, learn to swim, and competitive swimming. As a former competitive swimmer, I found a passion for swimming that I LOVE to pass on to my students. With numerous certifications as a swim instructor, swim coach, lifeguard instructor trainer, and water safety instructor trainer, I am always striving to further my knowledge about water safety. My husband and I love to explore all that South Florida has to offer with our daughter Brittan.

Lauren

Swim Instructor

Hi! My name is Lauren Walker. I am very proud to be part of the SoFla Aqua Fitness team. I am a South Florida native, growing up in Miami Beach and now living here in Boynton with my husband Brady, daughter Penelope (5) and son Cameron (3). I have always been a water girl, with over 10 years of competitive swimming, including swimming for the University of Florida, GO GATORS! In addition to swimming, I also spent 4 years lifeguarding on Miami Beach and 2 years in Boca where I became the only full-time female employee. Since leaving the beach in Boca, I have been the swim coach at the YMCA in Boynton. Here, I have the opportunity to work with children ages 5-17 as well as adults teaching the fundamentals of swimming and sharing my love for the sport of swimming in general.

Beth

Swim Instructor

Hi I am Beth , a born and raised 3rd generation Floridan, swimming is in my blood! My passion for teaching children led me to Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL to get my degree in Elementary Education. I understand children are unique which requires teaching to be individualized for children's success. From a young age, I was babysitting and helping each of the families I worked for maintain safety around the water and often teaching the children to become confident swimmers. I have an incredibly supportive husband and two girls who have been swimming longer than they have been walking. Seeing their passion and enthusiasm in the pool and ocean motivates me to teach and learn more about swimming. South Florida has so much to offer in aquatics. I enjoy our beaches, but love SCUBA diving our reefs. I am excited to embark on this journey with your family so your family can experience the joy of the water, safely and confidently.

Cindy

Hi, my name is Cindy and I am thrilled to be a part of the SoFla Aqua Fitness family. Born and

raised in Southern California, my love for swimming began at the age of 5 when my parents

installed a pool in our backyard. I have been an avid swimmer ever since, swimming for fitness

and of course, FUN! Life took a turn when I realized my love for swimming was evolving into a passion for teaching.

In 2015, I received my WSI certification and since then I have been teaching all ages (infant to adult)

year round. I hold certifications in adult/infant CPR, First-Aid, BLS and Lifeguard. I am trained in

American Red Cross Learn to Swim and have completed over 50 hours of training in Survival

Swim which is designed to teach independent swimming and self survival skills to infants, toddlers and

young children.

I’m often asked, “what is your favorite age to teach?” and after much thought, my answer is

always “all ages!” From teaching a young child and infant the ability to save themselves, to an

aquatic accident, to an adult with a debilitating fear of the water to swim-float-swim for the first time

across the pool, it is impossible to say which one gives me the greatest joy.

Building trust through patience and an understanding that each swimmer learns at their own

pace is the foundation of my teaching style.

I’m looking forward to swimming with you!
